What is Readloom?
Readloom is a community-driven book swapping platform where you can exchange books with other readers. Each book has a unique digital identity, and you use points to request books from other members.
How does the point system work?
Books are valued using AI based on condition, demand (wishlist count), and rarity. When you list a book, you earn points. When you request a book, points are deducted. The system ensures fair exchanges for everyone.
Is Readloom free to use?
Yes! Readloom is completely free to join and use. There are no subscription fees or hidden costs. You just need to sign up and start exchanging books.
How do I exchange a book?
Browse available books, find one you want, and click 'Request Exchange'. The owner will review your request. If approved, points are deducted, ownership transfers, and the book is yours!
What are QR codes for?
Each book has a permanent QR code that links to its digital history. You can scan it to see where the book has traveled, read notes from previous readers, and add your own reading experience.
